Our company produces buffer rollers. The surface of buffer rollers is composed of cold drill connector elastic rubber ring and lock ring. The buffer rollers are installed under the conveyor receiving section to reduce the impact of the conveyor belt and extend the service life of the conveyor belt. The buffer roller mainly plays a cushioning role. Buffer rollers are used to slow down the impact of blanking on the conveyor belt at the receiving place of the belt conveyor. Buffer rollers are mainly developed for corrosive environments such as coal washing plants, coking plants and chemical plants. The toughness of the buffer roller itself is more than 10 times that of ordinary metal, the life of the buffer roller is five times that of the traditional column shoes, corrosion resistance, flame retardant, anti-static, light weight and other characteristics, widely used in mining. Do three aspects to protect the buffer roller:
a. Buffer roller temperature protection:
When the belt conveyor drum and belt friction makes its temperature time out, the detection device installed closely to the drum sends an overtemperature signal. After receiving the signal, the receiver, after 3s delay, makes the execution of part of the action, cuts off the motor power supply, the conveyor automatically stops running, and plays a temperature protection role.
b. Buffer roller speed protection:
If the conveyor fails, such as motor burning, mechanical transmission part damage, belt or chain pulled off, belt slip, etc., the magnetic control switch in the accident sensor SG installed on the conveyor passive parts can not be closed or can not be closed at the normal speed. Then the control system will be delayed according to the inverse time characteristic, and the speed protection circuit will work, so that part of the action can be executed. Cut off the power supply to the motor to avoid an extended accident.
c. Buffer roller bunker coal level protection:
There are two high and low coal level electrodes in the bunker. When the bunker cannot discharge coal because there is no empty car, the coal level will gradually rise. When the coal level rises to the high electrode, the coal level protection action starts from the first belt conveyor.
4. The performance and advantages of the buffer rollers produced by our company:
The buffer rollers produced by our company are light in weight and small in rotation inertia. The buffer idlers produced by our factory are made of special polymer materials for idlers. The weight of idlers made of this material is about half that of ordinary idlers, and the rotation inertia is small, and the friction between the idlers and the belt is small.

According to the Chinese conveyor industry standard, the belt conveyor with a bandwidth of 500mm-1400mm has four standard types of buffer roller diameters, respectively: φ89mm, φ108mm, φ133mm, φ159mm.
With the emergence of the belt conveyor with large bandwidth, the diameter of the buffer roller also increases.
